OPP Investigating After Multiple Gunshots Fired at Rural Ontario Home
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a disturbing shooting incident after several gunshots were fired at a home in Adjala-Tosorontio over the weekend.
Authorities say the incident occurred just before 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, at a property located on Concession Road 4. According to the Nottawasaga OPP, unknown suspects fired multiple rounds at the residence, striking the house while people were inside. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
Officers responded quickly to the scene, securing the area and beginning an investigation. Police have not yet released details about potential suspects or motives but are urging anyone with information or security footage in the area to come forward.
The OPP’s forensic identification unit was also called in to assist, and investigators remain on the scene collecting evidence.
