Locals Wanted: Innisfil Road Cleanup Offers Big Rewards for a Few Hours of Your Time

INNISFIL, ON — Community members are being called to roll up their sleeves this Sunday, July 13, for a meaningful cause: cleaning up local roads while enjoying giveaways from generous sponsors. Organized by Hot Box Huts, this year’s Highway Cleanup Event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon, rain or shine.
Volunteers will meet at the South Innisfil Arboretum, located at 1474 Shore Acres Drive, before heading out to clear litter from County Road 3 (Highway 89), 2nd Line, 3rd Line, and Dempsey Street.
In keeping with tradition, a range of local sponsors are stepping up to reward volunteers with free prize draws. Participating businesses include:
• Meegs Lures
• Si Flies
• Unbroken Outdoors
• Wing’n It Alcona
• McGathy’s Slab Grabbers
• Syd Fishes Jigs
• Big Sky Flies and Jigs
• True North Baits
This initiative offers residents a fun and rewarding way to help beautify the Town of Innisfil and surrounding Simcoe County. Families, friends, and local groups are all encouraged to take part.
Those interested in joining can message the organizers directly to be added to the participant list and receive further details. Individuals or businesses wishing to donate prizes can also reach out to support the cause.
